Don’t look so sad,
It’s not so bad you know.
It’s just another night,
That’s all it is, it’s not the first,

We’ve come through all the rest,

We’ve made mistakes,
But we’ve made good friends too.
Remember all the nights we spent with them?
And all our plans,

On this special day, at the stroke of midnight, our year changes from the old to the new. But it will take me a month the write the date correctly. Hope 2022 is your year!

I can remember when, on this date years ago, I would go through my checkbook and write the new year’s date on several checks so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting it wrong until I remembered. Then again, who writes checks unless the recipient is still old-school? Here’s to hoping 2022 is OUR year! Love you!
